Ethical Non-Compliance
Â鶹´«Ã½ takes ethical non-compliance very seriously. Not only does ethical non-compliance endanger the welfare of animals affected by the non-compliance, it can also affect the work of graduate students, other researchers and, in some severe cases, the work of the entire Â鶹´«Ã½ community.
Every member of the Â鶹´«Ã½ community is responsible for alerting the proper authorities about breaches in ethical and legal behaviour. Please email ausexec@uwo.ca to notify the ACC of ethical non-compliance in the animal research community at Western and its affiliates. In the case of non-compliances due to the work of ACVS or the ACC, please contact the office of the Vice-President (Research) directly, via vpr@uwo.ca.
As with any disclosures of a sensitive nature, the ACC fully complies with Â鶹´«Ã½'s (PDF).
